Essential Reading

A short list of favorites that are either masterfully written or have profoundly affected the way I view the world. In either case, the reading of these books has improved my own writing and inspired me to challenge personal boundaries and biases. Though not shown, the works of Charles Dickens, Sufi mystic Rumi, and former US Poet Laureate Billy Collins are included on this list. Covers are in no specific order.
